Free air delivery (FAD) for every Colt two-stage VFD screw air compressor, taken from our current two-stage brochure. Two-stage compression delivers noticeably more air per kW than a single-stage machine of the same motor size. Compare the CS2 40 VFD at 228.4 CFM with the single-stage CS 40 VFD at 199.2 CFM, both at 8 bar.
